Indian Blanket Jasper, from the area of Enterpise, Utah, is a volcanic ash that has had geothermal fluids injected into it. The result is a stunning contrast of the orange-tan rhyolite with dark purple fluorite and white quartz in a flowing, mottled pattern. In this regard, Indian Blanket Jasper is similar to the opalized fluorite of Tiffany Stone, but is in fact even more rare.
